Indian Board of Alternative Medicine (IBAM), Calcutta has a rich history of over 20 years — setting the standards for alternative medicine distance education. We are a Government registered institution, internationally recognized and the largest organization of Alternative Medicine in India. The Board is duly incorporated under Act XXVI of 1961 of Government of West Bengal, based on the Central Government of India Act XXI of 1860 and the Literary & Scientific Institutions Act, 1854. This Act is applicable to the advancement and promotion of alternative and complementary medical sciences in India. Legality, Validity & Utility of the training courses, practice and research in the field of Alternative Systems of Medicines are in strict conformity with the Constitution of India as per Article 19(1)g and the Laws of the Land. Successful and trained students of the Board can practice and profess the various systems of Alternative Medicines as per the Rules and Regulation of the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines

To promote, propagate and advance the science of alternative systems of medicines such as Electro Homoeopathy, BachFlowerRemedies, Psychological Counselling, Naturopathy, Hydrotherapy, Chromo therapy, Teletherapy, Gem Therapy, Astro-Therapy, Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Herbal Medicines, Hypnosis, Radiesthesia, Radionics, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Yoga, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Massage, Bioenergetics, Homoeopuncture, Reiki, Magneto therapy, Urine Therapy, Aromatherapy etc. & to raise the status of alternative systems of medicines.
